The Kilted Buffalo was the venue on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 as Craig LePage and Shelley Johnson of the LePage & Johnson Realty Group served up favorite brews and wines behind the bar in Birkdale Village, which rose over $700 for the Lake Norman Women for Wishes society which supports Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina.
Friends, family, clients and colleagues joined the bartending duo for the “Tips for Wishes” evening with all proceeds helping children right here in Lake Norman. Lake Norman Women for Wishes was started earlier this year and already has two dozen members. Shelley is one of the Director’s for this group and enjoys being part of this passionate group of ladies.
Shelley said, “We had a blast and were overwhelmed by the generosity and patience of our customers. If one child’s wish was realized as a result of our efforts this evening, we are thrilled. We look forward to returning with more experience under our belts and thank The Kilted Buffalo for their support.”
Craig and Shelley’s real estate team is part of the Keller Williams office in Cornelius. The team services the surrounding Charlotte and Lake Norman markets.
