Asheville, N.C. - TangledBlue Productions and The Orange Peel present the Fifth Annual Benefit Concert for Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina, to take place on Thursday, December 6 at The Orange Peel. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
The Benefit Concert to support Make-A-Wish is a rare opportunity to see many of the area’s top acts at The Orange Peel, voted one of the country’s top five club’s by Rolling Stone Magazine. This is an event that prior year’s attendees look forward to every year!
The Benefit Concert line-up for this year’s festivities includes:
Velvet Truckstop, an Asheville favorite whom recently played Asheville’s Downtown After 5 and has just released their new CD produced by the legendary Johnny Sandlin of the Allman Brothers Band.
Shane Pruitt Band, out of Spartanburg, S.C., who has also played the Downtown After 5 in Asheville and is a rising hot blues guitarist.
The Sharkadelics, a band straight out of Asheville, N.C., and has been one of the top rock bands of Western North Carolina.
Rory Kelly and Triple Threat, Rory is just back from a tour in Spain in which he was showcasing his new CD and is ready to rock at the Peel.
Rock Academy, We’re excited to welcome back the kids of Rock Academy as part of the line up!

As always, we will be selling raffle tickets at the show for attendees to buy for a chance to win many donated items from our growing list of sponsors. Raffle tickets will be priced at five dollars per ticket or five tickets for 20 dollars.

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with lif- threatening medical conditions, to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Born in 1980, the Foundation granted the wish of a young boy to be a police officer. The Foundation is now the largest wish granting charity in the world. With 62 chapters in the United States, generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Central and Western NC grants over 200 wishes a year and nationally the organization grants more than 13,000 in the United States alone.
The Central and Western North Carolina chapter was founded in 1985 by Dr. Jerry Clark of Greensboro, North Carolina. The chapter covers 51counties, from Alamance County westward.
