Hannah Cutlip recently celebrated a very special birthday. In lieu of receiving elaborate gifts for her Sweet 16, Hannah requested party-guests make donations to Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina. Chicago Bears linebacker, James Anderson, agreed to match the gifts she received – dollar for dollar.
Along with James’ generous contribution, the donations collected from Hannah’s party will grant the wish of 8-year-old Arriana, a local child who suffers from Large B-Cell Lymphoma. In July, Arriana will leave medical treatments and hospital visits behind to enjoy carefree, sunny days on a Caribbean Cruise with her family.
On Thursday, May 30th, The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte will host an intimate meet & greet to celebrate Hannah and James’ accomplishment of raising $6,000 to grant a local child’s wish through the Adopt-A-Wish® Program at Make-A-Wish® Central & Western North Carolina. The afternoon will include a Wish Child Reveal in which Hannah and James will meet the child whose wish they adopted, for the first time. The Wish Family will speak about the upcoming wish experience and the positive impact the fundraising project has had on them.
