Rewards chosen from the Gallery Collection, an exclusive artwork collection offered by TharpeRobbins, a global leader in the managed employee reward and recognition industry, have resulted in a donation to Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina, which helps make dreams come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
TharpeRobbins donates a percentage to Make-A-Wish each time a print is selected from its Gallery Collection, which is comprised of almost 90 traditional and contemporary framed prints. The company donated more than $5,000 to Make-A-Wish last year and plans to donate more than $6,000 this year. The company has donated to Make-A-Wish for the past five years, providing wishes for local children and it plans to continue this annual effort in the future.
Companies like TharpeRobbins are definitely the lifeline to keeping these necessary funds flowing. It means everything to Make-A-Wish to receive these valuable donations. TharpeRobbins is inspiring other companies and individuals to do the same,” says Stephanie Leeper, marketing and communications manager at Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina. “This donation will stay local and help make dreams come true for several area children.”
“Social commitment is important to both our community and to TharpeRobbins, as well,” says Susan Tolle, senior vice president of talent at TharpeRobbins. “Make-A-Wish is an organization that is widely endorsed by our employees; sadly, we all know children in our lifetimes that have been recipients of the Make-A-Wish gift. This organization gives us the opportunity to help make a difference in a child’s life, even though we may never have met them personally. If we can help turn just one child’s dream into a reality, it is well worth the effort.”
The Gallery Collection represents more than 15 artists that were chosen for their talent, distinguished reputations, and because each has a different approach to subject matter, interpretations and technique. Each fine art print is personally inspected by the artist before being signed and is accompanied by its own certificate of authenticity verifying that it has been authorized and inspected by the artist. The Gallery Collection has proven to be a very popular rewards category for TharpeRobbins resulting in substantial donations to Make-A-Wish over the past several years.
