Cayden’s Wish of Going to Disney World is Coming True
Mount Airy, NC - Three-year-old Cayden’s wish to go to DisneyWorld® to visit LegoLand® is coming true! This adorable young boy has been battling Evan’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disease in which an individual’s antibodies attack their own red blood cells and platelets, since his heart transplant last year. He comes from a loving and supportive family, and just adores his older brother Logan. Cayden’s wish to spend time a LegoLand and DisneyWorld will provide a much needed respite for the family and allow them time to reconnect, while enjoying the trip of a lifetime.
Cayden comes from a small but supportive town. His wish granters, Leslie and Ted, have been instrumental in spreading the word to the local community. A community-oriented send-off party has been planned for Saturday, September 20. Cayden’s day will start at 11:15 a.m. at 13 Bones, located at 502 S Andy Griffith Parkway in Mount Airy. He will be arriving via police escort and starting his party with a mayoral proclamation that September 20, 2014 will be known as Cayden Talbert Day in Mount Airy.
Other activities for the day include the local fire companies coming out to welcome Cayden, the local WalMart bringing presents for Cayden, and local high school students coming out to do caricatures and face painting. The entire Mount Airy community is invited to attend this event. Come to 13 Bones by 10:45 to show your support for Cayden and his family.
