14-year-old Tristen loves Star Wars, the color red, and anything having to do with basketball – especially when it involves the North Carolina Tar Heels or Cleveland Cavaliers. But, most of all, he loves playing video games! And since Tristen was diagnosed with A.L.L. last September, while he hasn’t had a ton of energy to go outside and shoot hoops with his buddies, he’s found plenty of comfort and distraction in his favorite pastime.
According to his mom, Melissa, Tristen tends to be a little reserved. However, when Wish Granters visited him in the hospital to discuss his wish, Tristen knew just what he wanted, right down to the details, and wasn’t shy about speaking up! Without an ounce of hesitation, Tristen wished to have a gaming computer station: a comfortable place to play Call of Duty: Black Ops III, including a new desk, chair, and all the incidentals to go along with it. He even picked out the exact computer he wanted! Tristen is thrilled with his new gaming station and grateful for a fun way to keep his mind off of things while pushing through treatment. And, as he looks forward to his 15th birthday in a couple of weeks, the timing couldn’t have been better! Thank you, Bristol-Myers Squibb for your incredible generosity… and for making wishes like Tristen’s come true!
