Three-year-old Troy is a highly energetic little boy who is full of life. When Troy was only two, he was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. Throughout this past year, Troy has been in and out of the hospital, undergoing treatment and is currently into the maintenance phase of his treatment.
CBS Radio’s Guenn was able to give Troy an early Christmas gift, live on her show, with co-host Tanner. Troy had a task of searching for Disney clues all around the CBS studio. His last clue led him to the new 103.7 studios where Guenn awarded him with his ultimate wish of going to Disney World to meet Mickey and his favorite character, Jake, from the Disney Junior show, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Troy and his family were overjoyed with happiness.
After his exciting scavenger hunt with CBS Radio, Troy set off to spend a week in Disney alongside his mom, dad and brother. Troy’s entire family was able to spend much deserved, stress-free time together, after all of the hospital visits and treatments. His parents were able to watch him have a fantastic time riding small roller coasters, playing games, and of course hanging out with some of his Disney characters like Transformers and the minions from Despicable Me.
