First annual Daddy-Daughter Date Night to benefit Make-A-Wish
Charlotte, NC – 10-year-old AnneLeigh Twer is spending her summer helping wish kids. The first ever Junior Honoree of the W.I.S.H. Society has a goal of raising $6,000, which is enough to grant a wish of a child suffering from a life-threatening medical condition. Chima Brazilian Steakhouse will be hosting the first annual Daddy-Daughter Date Night on September 12, 2014. The evening will be filled with dinner, dancing, and dessert with proceeds going to benefit Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina.
A daddy and one daughter will be $70 and a daddy with two daughters will be $100. Reservations are necessary and tickets will be charged the night of the event. This special evening is a part of W.I.S.H Society member, AnneLeigh’s fundraising efforts. Tickets can be purchased at: http://bit.ly/1l3t2gd
Honored for their career success, significant contributions to the community and their personal commitment to philanthropy; the W.I.S.H. Society celebrates the accomplishments of an extraordinary group of local women. W.I.S.H. Society Honorees join forces with Make-A-Wish® to adopt the wishes of central and western North Carolina's bravest, most inspiring children: wish-kids. While the Central and Western North Carolina chapter is currently granting over240 wishes this year, there are also 200 wishes that are waiting to be granted. Each honoree has the responsibility of raising at least $6,000 so that they can grant a local child’s wish and help to bring Make-A-Wish closer to their goal of granting every wish.
A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions. For many of them, it marks a turning point in their fight against their illnesses. For their doctors, nurses and other health professionals, the wish experience works in concert with medicine to make their patients feel better, emotionally and even physically.
Located on S. Tryon Street in the heart of uptown, Chima Brazilian Steakhouse is known for their one of a kind experience. Originating in Brazil, Chima combines traditional Brazilian rodizio, an all-you-can-eat style of dining, with exceptional service and an elegant setting. You can choose from a variety of 16 rotisserie meats or dine at the salad bar that has both American dishes as well as traditional Brazilian meals.
