Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration of its new home, the Wishing Place, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at 217 E. Tremont Ave. in Charlotte. To attend the celebration on Jan. 29, visit www.eventbrite.com.
