Panthers DT Kyle Love helps make Coach Jack's dream a reality


The Panthers and Make-A-Wish made Bolton’s wish of being a coach come true when he was named the team’s honorary coach for FanFest in August of 2013. He became affectionately known as "Coach Jack." Kyle Love helped make Bolton’s dream of attending Sunday’s playoff game come true.

Middle School students participated in the eighth annual Macy's "Believe" campaign this holiday season to write letters of a wish they had or a wish for some else. Macy's teamed up with the Make-A-Wish® foundation to spread holiday cheer to children with life-threatening medical conditions. For each letter collected through Christmas Eve, Macy's donated $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million, to help grant wishes for children who have life-threatening medical conditions.

Charlotte man pays it forward with Christmas light display


Make-A-Wish was able to send him and his family to Disney World this past spring. Harbin is now collecting donations from his display to give back to Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina. The charity has a special play in P.T.'s heart. At 5-years-old, his sister was diagnosed with a rare genetic defect. "They granted a wish for my sister when we were children, so it's definitely my charity of choice," Harbin said.
