For four-year-old, southern belle Peyton, the world revolves around country music, puzzles, and playing outside. She knew immediately that her one true wish was to have a playground as big as a castle. She was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer affecting the brain and nervous system at a young age and has been dealing with hospital visits and cancer treatments ever since. When asked what she wanted as her wish, Peyton just wanted a go-to house for all of her friends and thought that a playhouse would be the envy of the neighborhood.
The Glass Foundation in Asheville, which focuses on child development, environmental education and historical preservation, adopted Peyton’s wish and made it come true in November 2013. PlayNation delivered a beautiful castle themed play set complete with two slides, mini rock wall and three swings. The two-story clubhouse is big enough to easily accommodate a dozen of her best playmates and is definitely adds the touch of flare that Peyton was hoping for. Her play set will remind her every day that she is a survivor and to chase her dreams.
